"The Power of Superpressure and Precision"
Harwood liquid pumps and gas boosters are hydraulic intensifiers, either single or double-acting. With the exception of the laboratory units, the drive pressures are nominally 2,000 psi. The availability and variety of commercially obtainable hydraulic drive components provide great flexibility in design.

Essentially, we can pair any of our high pressure intensifier heads with a common low pressure (2,000 psi) drive unit to create a simple hydraulic intensifier. Whether the intensifier’s high pressure fluid is a liquid (referred to as a pump) or a gas (referred to as a booster), our approach remains the same.
