The strain gauge cell is extremely reliable and durable. These rugged pressure transducers are suitable for general field applications. When calibrated against our deadweight tester, the strain gauge cell can serve as a secondary standard reference instrument. If used as a secondary standard in a laboratory setting, we generally recommend semi annual calibration against the dead weight tester.
