"The Power of Superpressure and Precision"
Explore Harwood Engineering’s line up of high pressure valves. Styles of valves offered include check valves, air-operated valves, and manually operated needle valves for use as isolation valves and pressure release valves. Valve pressure ratings range from 20,000 psi to 200,000 psi. Harwood Engineering has specialized in quality high pressure equipment components since 1948 and is proud to offer custom solutions no matter what the specific size or valve type.
Check ValvesHarwood Engineering’s check valves are available for use with either gases or liquids. Check valves are offered standard as alloy steel, but can be furnished in stainless steel or other materials.
Air Operated ValvesAir operated valves feature replaceable seats and needles. Electrical switches to indicate the open or closed position can be offered. Stainless steel and custom designs are available, for service in gas or liquid high pressure systems.
In addition to the conventional needle valve, Harwood also offers toggle needle valves and release valves. Features include sensitive feel, non-rotating needles for no backlash, replaceable seats and needles, low torque for easy closing, and throttling capacity. Conventional needle valves are rated for pressures up to 150,000 psi. Toggle and release needle valves are available for pressures to 200,000 psi.
Harwood’s hydraulic operated release valves can be utilized in applications requiring gas or liquid service. Stainless steel valves are available for water service, and custom designs for specialized requirements are welcomed. Hydraulic control pressure is between 1,000-1,500 psi and control ports are ¼ NPT.
